The last guy I dated dumped me because I hated his dog too much
Don’t hate me dog people. I swear I don’t hate dogs. But this particular dog I was not a fan of. Let me start from the beginning with prefacing this with maybe it had nothing to do about the dog. Who knows. I’ll let you decide.
I was dating this guy for about 4 months and we got along pretty well. Some back story on him is he had a terrible breakup in the past. His ex girlfriend had cheated on him with another guy. At the time I knew some details about his past relationship but not all of them as I came to find out. I learned several new details in the span of those 4 months. One of them was he owned a dog with his ex girlfriend. And they used to live together. Yea these were all minor details I didn’t know for some time. But not the point.
So I did not really grow up with a dog. My first memory of one is an old pitbull we had at the yellow house. Rocky, he died in the backyard one day and I never saw him again. And well after that I never lived anywhere I could own a dog. And so I don’t really like other people’s dog that much in general, not because they are not cute but just their not mine. I guess. Also most people don’t have their dog clean to be honest. But whatever, I did not like this dog and it’s connection to the guy I was dating’s ex girlfriend.
